Thrift Pop Up
The Eastern Regional Council, in synergy with the Richmond Foundation, will host a Thrift Pop-Up event for both Black Friday (24th November 2023) and Cyber Monday (27th November 2023) at the Gabriel Caruana Foundation’s The Mill – Art, Culture and Crafts Centre (MACCC) in Birkirkara.

Monday contributes to environmental pollution through the extensive carbon emissions in production and transportation, chemical pollution from textile treatments, the release of microplastics, and the overflowing of landfills due to the “throwaway” culture of fast fashion. 
Friday and CyberMonday contributes to environmental pollution through the extensive carbon emissions in production and transportation, chemical pollution from textile treatments, the release of microplastics, and the overflowing of landfills due to the “throwaway” culture of fast fashion. Thus, during these two days, a pop-up thrift shop will be open to the public; where second-hand clothing will be sold, and all proceeds will be donated to the Richmond Foundation – Malta . 
We encourage you to bring your tote bag and join in on the second-hand shopping fun!
